12/28/2012: Assailants armed with guns and knives attacked Christian homes in Musari village, Borno state, Nigeria. The assailants tied the Christian villagers up and slit their throats, killing at least 15 people. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities suspected that Boko Haram was involved.
