12/31/2012: An explosive device detonated at a Shia house in Musayyib, Babil, Iraq. This was one of 19 coordinated attacks across Iraq and one of three attacks targeting Shia homes in Musayib on the same day. Seven people were killed and four more were injured across the three attacks in Musayib. Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for the incident.
