01/10/2013: An assailant threw an explosive device at a police patrol in Cenvencion, Norte de Santander, Colombia. A police lieutenant was killed in the blast and three police officers were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attribute the incident to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
