Incident Summary:

01/11/2013: Assailants kidnapped Edgar Fabella in Maasin, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. The perpetrators fled with Fabella, a local businessperson, in a waiting motorboat. Fabella was released on February 22, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attribute the attack to Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
