01/16/2013: Two sticky bombs attached to vehicles detonated near Tikrit city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Two people were killed and another nine were wounded in the blast; six of the victims were soldiers. This was one of 14 coordinated attacks across the country on the same day. Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for the incidents.
