Incident Summary:

01/17/2013: A roadside bomb detonated targeting a convoy of police officers and soldiers in Uber village, Bannang Sata district, Yala province, Thailand. The explosion was followed by an exchange of gunfire between the perpetrators and security forces. No one was hurt in the attack; however, an electricity pole was damaged. This was one of two attacks in this location on this day. No group claimed responsibility for this incident.
