Incident Summary:

01/24/2013: An explosive device detonated on a bridge linking Mali to Niger in Tassiga, near Ansongo, Gao region, Mali. No one was hurt in the attack; however, the blast caused a large hole in the bridge. While no group claimed responsibility for the attack, local villagers blamed the Movement for the Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) for the blast.
