Incident Summary:

01/30/2013: Four assailants abducted a lawyer from his home in Antakya town, Hatay province, Turkey. Turkish police followed the assailants, engaging them in a firefight in which two attackers were injured and four were arrested. The lawyer was then released. There was no claim of responsibility for this attack; however, officials indicate that the lawyer was targeted because of his work with the opposition in Syria.
