02/05/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle in Taji, Saladin, Iraq. The explosion targeted a joint army-police checkpoint, killing at least five people and injuring 12 more individuals. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspect that Al-Qaida in Iraq was behind the attack.
