02/07/2013: A remote-controlled roadside bomb struck a police pick-up truck in Chehla Tao area, Kishindih district, Balkh province, Afghanistan. A district police chief, Nasir Khan, and three of his bodyguards were killed, while three other people were wounded in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident through a statement released to local media.
