02/08/2013: Gunmen fired at a polio clinic in the Hotoro Hayi neighborhood of Kano city, Kano state, Nigeria. Nine women died in the attack. This was one of two attacks against polio clinics. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident, but witnesses blamed it on Boko Haram.
