02/11/2013: A suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the convoy of Puntland Deputy Police Chief, General Muhyadin Ahmed Musse, in Galkayo, Mudug region, Somalia. Four people were killed and at least one was wounded in the attack, including General Musse, who suffered minor injuries. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack via Twitter.

The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
