02/11/2013: Assailants armed with grenades and firearms attacked Khaled al-Lahibi in Mualimin neighborhood, Baqubah, Diyala, Iraq. Al-Lahibi, a Sahwa Council commander, was killed and four bodyguards were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the incident was carried out by Al-Qaida in Iraq.
