03/03/2013: Assailants attacked the military barracks in Monguno village, Borno State, Nigeria. Twenty of the perpetrators died in the fighting. Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the attack in a video, stating that more violence would follow to avenge the death and arrests of its members.
