Incident Summary:

03/03/2013: Perpetrators transporting four live mortar rounds were stopped by police in Londonderry city, Londonderry district, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. Officers safely defused the devices and foiled an attack they believed was aimed at a police station. Two perpetrators were arrested on the scene. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to The New Irish Republican Army.
