03/13/2013: Assailants abducted Special Police Officer (SPO) Chandu Ram in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh state, India. Ram's body was discovered on April 22, 2013; however, authorities believe that he was killed on the morning of April 15, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities blamed Maoists for the abduction.
