Incident Summary:

03/15/2013: Assailants opened fire on police and security personnel in Manmaru, West Singhbhum district, Jharkhand, India. The security team was trying to collect the bodies of six villagers kidnapped and killed by the assailants two days earlier. No one was injured in the attack. The police blamed the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-M).
