Incident Summary:

03/24/2013: A mortar shell reportedly fired from the al-Qusour area south of Damascus struck the parking lot of the office of Syria's state-run television station in Umayyad Square, Damascus city, Damascus governorate, Syria. There were no reports of injuries or property damage resulting from the incident. This was one of three mortar attacks on Umayyad Square on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities blamed the attack on opposition rebels.
