03/26/2013: An unknown number of assailants attacked a police checkpost in Warduj district, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. The assault led to an extended gun battle in which ten assailants and two police officers were killed and four assailants and eight police officers were wounded. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
