04/04/2013: Assailants kidnapped four Italian journalists from an unknown location in Syria. The journalists were released around April 13, 2013. There was no claim of responsibility for this attack; however, Al Qa'ida in Iraq claimed that the al-Nusrah Front was responsible for the abduction.
