04/09/2013: An explosive device contained in a letter was sent to La Stampa news agency in Turin city, Piedmont region, Italy. Due to a malfunction, the device did not detonate and was safely removed. The Informal Anarchist Federation and the International Revolutionary Front jointly claimed responsibility for the incident in a letter to the press, stating that La Stampa was "one of the many newspapers of the regime".
