Incident Summary:
04/13/2013: Assailants threw three explosive devices at Mahbubul Alam Hanif's private residence in the Gulshan area of Dhaka city, Dhaka division, Bangladesh. Hanif, the Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary, was not injured in the attack because the devices failed to detonate. No group claimed responsibility; however, the victim suspects that the attack was carried out by both Jamaat-E-Islami (Bangladesh) and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

Criteria 1
