04/15/2013: Assailants opened fire on Dino Melaye, a former member of the House of Representatives in the Central Business district of Abuja city, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. Melaye was able to escape unharmed. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident; however, Melaye attributed the attack to people opposed to his anti-corruption stance.
