Incident Summary:

04/25/2013: Assailants kidnapped three foreign aid workers in Koshan district, Herat province, Afghanistan. The victims worked for the Danish Committee for Aid to Afghan Refugees (DACAAR) and included two engineers and their driver. The attackers freed the aid workers on April 26, 2013. There was no claim of responsibility for this attack; however, local residents attributed it to the Taliban.
