04/28/2013: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire in Chaparhar district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. The assailants targeted a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) convoy. A firefight ensued in which four civilians were killed and six more people including four soldiers were wounded. The Taliban claimed responsibility for this attack.
