Incident Summary:

04/29/2013: Five assailants attacked a truck in Bislig, Surigao del Sur province, Philippines. The assailants set the truck on fire and abducted three people. The truck driver and his assistant were later released. There was no claim of responsibility for this attack; however, officials attributed it to the New People's Army (NPA). The whereabouts of a third victim, described as the truck's escort, remain unknown.
