Incident Summary:

04/30/2013: A roadside bomb detonated in Nahr-e-Saraj district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. The blast targeted a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) military patrol. Three British soldiers and nine civilians were killed in the explosion. Six other soldiers were injured in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
