Incident Summary:

05/07/2013: A suicide bomber on a motorcycle detonated targeting a Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) election candidate, Mufti Syed Janan, in Doaba town, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. In addition to the bomber, at least 12 people were killed and 31 were wounded in the blast; Janan was not one of the casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
