05/10/2013: Assailants opened fire on a Muhajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate, Shakil Ahmed, in Landhi area of Karachi city, Sindh province, Pakistan. Ahmed and two others were killed and another five people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
