05/12/2013: Assailants attacked the brother of a former anti-Maoist group leader at his private residence in Bijapur town, Chhattisgarh state, India. The assailants beat the victim, then strangled him to death. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
