05/14/2013: A land mine detonated as first responders were arriving on the scene of an earlier attack near the Ministry of Defense in Mogadishu city, Banaadir region, Somalia. This was one of two coordinated land mine attacks in Mogadishu on this day. It is unknown if there were any casualties or property damage resulting from the blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Al-Shabaab.
