Incident Summary:

05/17/2013: An explosive device detonated outside the Saria mosque in Baquba city, Diyala governorate, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated attacks at this site; this first blast was designed to draw a crowd that was targeted in a later explosion. Between the two explosions, at least 40 people were killed and 57 were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.
