05/20/2013: Assailants abducted four Davao Security and Investigation Agency (DASIA) guards and two civilians in Maco municipality, Compostela Valley province, Philippines. No information was available with regards to an outcome for the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the kidnapping to the New Peoples Army (NPA).
