Incident Summary:

05/22/2013: Approximately 50 assailants entered a village, gathered the citizens, and separated out three people in Murkinar village, Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh state, India. The attackers hanged one of the victims in public and beat the other two individuals after having placed them on trial. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, the police attributed the attack to Maoists.
