Incident Summary:

05/23/2013: Four suicide bombers detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a military base in Agadez city, Agadez region, Niger. Twenty-three people were killed, including the four bombers, and 16 people were injured in the blast. This was one of two simultaneous and coordinated suicide attacks in Niger on this day. The Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) and the al-Mua'qi'oon Biddam Brigade (Those who Sign with Blood) claimed responsibility for the incident.
