Incident Summary:

06/02/2013: Assailants opened fire on a convoy of trucks, burned the vehicles, and then kidnapped people in Rutba, Al Anbar, Iraq. Three Syrian truck drivers were killed and two people, at least one of whom was a police officer, were kidnapped during the attack. There is no information available with regards to an outcome for the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
