Incident Summary:

06/03/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden motorcycle near a school and a market in Chamkani district, Paktia province, Afghanistan. The assailant was targeting a passing North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) patrol. At least 11 Afghan children and two United States (US) soldiers were killed in the blast; another 15 people were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the attack to the Taliban.
