06/29/2013: Assailants attacked Colonel Mohammed Hani in Arish city, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. Hani, an Interior Ministry inspector, was killed in the attack and his driver was wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim fundamentalists.
