07/02/2013: An explosive device, carried by a suicide bomber, detonated prematurely as he was en route to his target in Balagtasan area, Lamitan City, Basilan province, Philippines. The assailant was the only casualty. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
