Incident Summary:

07/11/2013: Assailants opened fire on a military checkpoint guarding an oil pipeline near Barwana town, Al Anbar governorate, Iraq. At least 11 soldiers were killed in the attack. This was one of two attacks on security forces guarding the same pipeline perpetrated by the assailants on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.
