Incident Summary:

07/14/2013: Assailants opened fire on vehicles carrying ballot boxes in Qardho village, Bari region, Somalia. Three people were killed and two people were injured in the incident. One car containing ballots was stolen. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, officials posited that attack was carried out by a group that was opposed to local elections and the democratization process in Puntland.
