Incident Summary:
07/20/2013: A roadside bomb detonated in the Al-Zafaraniya area of Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. This was one of 11 coordinated attacks on majority Shia neighborhoods in Baghdad city and one of three consecutive explosions in Al-Zafaraniya on this day. At least five people were killed and another 19 others were injured across the three attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
