Incident Summary:

07/27/2013: An explosive device detonated near a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) patrol outside of the Bagram airfield in Bagram, Parwan, Afghanistan. Three United States (US) soldiers were injured in the explosion. This was one of two incidents targeting US soldiers outside Bagram airfield on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the coordinated incidents.
