07/28/2013: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a convoy of Kurdish police officers in Tuz Kharmato town, Saladin governorate, Iraq. At least eight police officers were killed and four others were wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources noted that the attack bore the trademark of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
