Incident Summary:

08/04/2013: A suicide bomber attempted to enter the provincial governor's compound and detonate an explosive device in Trinkot city, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan. When police ordered the assailant to stop, he detonated the device, killing himself. There were no other reported casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the attack to the Taliban.
