Incident Summary:

08/08/2013: Gunmen opened fire on an off duty police officer's vehicle on his way to the market for Eid in the Almo Chowk area of Quetta city, Balochistan province, Pakistan. The officer was killed and five people, including four of his children, were injured in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in Quetta on this day. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
