08/13/2013: Assailants kidnapped an army corporal while escorting Department of Natural Resources and Environment staff in barangay Mahayahay, San Luis municipality, Agusan del Sur province, Philippines. The victim was released by the assailants on September 23, 2013 after negotiations with officials. The New People's Army (NPA) Front 88 claimed responsibility for the incident.
