08/14/2013: Assailants with assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) attacked a military base in Paidu Pulangi village, North Cotabato province, Philippines. The military repelled the attack and killed one attacker. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
