Incident Summary:

08/15/2013: Assailants threw a grenade at the Bodoland Territorial Council office in Kokrajhar district, Assam state, India. The location was believed to be targeted since it was near a venue hosting Independence Day celebrations. This was one of three grenade attacks in Assam on this day. There were no reported casualties or damage in this explosion. No group claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks; however, sources attributed the attack to the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB).
