08/17/2013: Assailants opened fire on Ahmed Sharif near his residence in Mogadishu city, Banaadir region, Somalia. Sharif, a technician for Radio Mogadishu, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources speculated that Al-Shabaab was behind the attack.
